The Story of LDC

For years, our Founders, a small group of event professionals came together for a social round of golf.  Being event people, it could not stay a casual event for long – a committee was formed, phone calls and emails ensued and meetings on patios enticed the industry to play!  FORE!

We are an open invitation tournament focused on bringing everyone in our industry together for a day of ridiculous fun and high-fiving. We are inclusive and really just want  people to get outside, meet some people and hit a little ball.



We get support from a variety of sponsor friends and have proudly supported causes close to our hearts for years.

In our first two years, we raised over $15,000 in support of STARS Air Ambulance. A few years ago, the Loading Dock Scholarship initiative was launched, raising money toward elevating our local industry.(See below). And in 2023 we are focusing on supporting you.

The Loading Dock Scholarship was created to give back to the industry. The Founders wanted to inspire youth to consider careers in the event industry and elevate the talented young event professionals just starting.

The Loading Dock Scholarship program aims to provide funding and resources to educate, elevate and expand our thriving local industry. We wanted to make change while creating change makers!

We have paused the scholarship initiative for the time being. Stay tuned for updates going into 2024 and beyond.

For 2023, our tournament focus is to provide a day of fun for our industry to recharge. It is an opportunity to have a relaxing, fun round of golf, make new friends, and reunite with old friends.
