The Story of LDC

For years, our Founders, a small group of event professionals came together for a social round of golf. Being event people, it could not stay a casual event for long – a committee was formed, phone calls and emails ensued and meetings on patios enticed the industry to play!  FORE!

We are an open invitation tournament focused on bringing everyone in our industry together for a day of ridiculous fun and high-fiving. We are inclusive and really just want people to get outside, meet some people and hit a little ball.

We get support from a variety of sponsor friends and have proudly supported causes close to our hearts for years.

In our first two years, we raised over $15,000 in support of STARS Air Ambulance. A few years ago, the Loading Dock Scholarship initiative was launched, raising money toward elevating our local industry.

In 2026, we will be donating to The SEARCH Foundation, an industry initiative that provides financial assistance to event, meetings, and catering professionals who are faced with a life threatening illness or catastrophic occurrence. The second initiative will be to local programs that support event professionals.
